KENJUTSU can be translated as “sword techniques” and is an umbrella term used to encompass schools of practice concerning the use of Japanese sword and sword combat. This includes traditional styles (Koryu), as well as modern styles (Gendai Budo).
Our Club
OAKVILLE Kenjutsu is honoured to be an official study group of Tokumeikan. We are a training group dedicated to the practice of Japan’s most prestigious sword style, Yagyu Shinkage Ryu.
